Sovrano Limoncello Strawberry Dream

Ingredients for 4 cups

  • 200g ricotta
  • 2 tablespoons of Sovrano limoncello
  • 20g flour
  • 75g sugar
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 250ml milk
  • The grated rind of half a lemon
  • strawberries
  • sugar in grains

In a heavy-bottomed saucepan, bring to a boil the milk with the lemon zest.

Meanwhile, in another saucepan, beat the egg yolks with the sugar and the flour until the mixture is light in color.

Strain the milk and pour flush into egg mixture, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon. Leave on the heat for 2 minutes (stirring constantly).

Remove from heat and add Sovrano limoncello and sieved ricotta, stir until the mixture is homogeneous and soft.

At this point, prepare the cups, putting on the bottom of some strawberries, washed and cut into chunks and pour a few tablespoons of cream and decorate as desired.

Arrange the cups in refrigerator until ready to serve you.
